In line with a previous blog post about tree houses and bird’s nests, this is what I found by chance this week:
With its retractable staircase this is a hotel room, the ‘Bird’s Nest’, at Treehotel Harads in the north of Sweden.
It looks a bit spooky at night, I guess. Just as it should… in my dreams:
This must be an artist impression with the artificial lights on inside, or would the inside space be so open to sunshine? Looking for an answer I found an interesting architect’s sketch:
